We Should All Become Morticians... With all the baby boomers dying off in the next 25 years, that doesn't seem like a bad field to explore...

Just stack them in the storage room like cord wood. Like in the Georgia funeral home. No need for embalming. Most of us will be in an urn anyhow.

Most of us are not into full blown funerals so I don't think you'd make that much off of our deaths. Burn and urn, that's the way of the moderns. But, good thinking based on demographics and all that.

We didn't have a funeral for Mom or Dad. bother were cremated. For Dad, we had a gathering at the house, a celebration. It was very nice. For Mom, we had a family memorial at the gravesite. Again, very nice. None of us missed having funerals. I think, I don't want one either, if my family is okay with that.

You do raise an interesting point, and that is that there are many businesses that are gearing up to center around the baby boomers. One very lucrative way to go is to become an investment advisor, maybe even a CFP, because there will be an abundance of wealth shifting from the baby boomers to their children in the next few years. It's already begun, and will get even bigger. Now is a great time to get a CFP, if you focus on the senior market.
