Those are standard questions for any app By answering those questions honestly, it doesn't necessarily mean you will be barred from consideration.

I was accused I was accused of saying bad words to an employee (which is way younger than me and my salary higher than her--shes just a newbie) through an email)--dont understand how that happens. The email was traced through my IP address at my house and I found out later on that my telephone line that day is out of order. A case has been filed on this but my lawyer died last year and am already here in US..so I lost the case so I didnt get the chance to fight back and didnt get any retirement at all even a single cent..that I need to provide for my 2 babies. It will be a new life here in US if I apply for a job..i think its just being honest to new employer if ever. Thanks again people for your inputs.

How unusual... Was this lawyer a private individual practice? Were there not other "Partners" or "Associates" that could have picked up on the case where your former lawyer that died left off? How did you lose the case? By not following through with it? How could this other party possibly win when you could prove that your DSL connection was unavailable that day? What proof did they provide to prove that this email DID come from YOUR IP ADDRESS? Do you have a static IP? So many questions... I'm intrigued, please, do tell...

This happened in 2006 The problem there is that I didnt realize that my telephone is out of order for 3 days (because usually telephone lines in our town are not of good service)...The proof that they had is coming from investigation agency whatever. when we had our hearing, I was just stunned and dont know what to say just to tell them that I really didnt do it...After two weeks of agony( still shocked how did that happen) when I got our telephone bill, I discovered that it is disconnected on the day (for 3days actually)! I am on a prepaid internet. (so if theres no phone or phone not working-no internet connection). So i told my lawyer and made another report which is unfortunately its too late that they fired me already in that school...What happened to me is a mix of politics and intrigues because one of the former board of trustees is helping me with this case. The british superintendent of that school is really a jerk because he hates the former board. This is a long story and until now, his tyranny never ends because he keeps on firing people whatever the reason is. Judicial system in my country is very worse, and the latest news i heard from my lawyer is that the judge in the fiscal was being paid by the superintendent of that school. And that is a big private school which is owned by rich parents. My lawyer who passed away was just a probono, since I dont have a job to pay a lawyer. I can still reopen the case, why not...but of course need a thousand bucks and with the economy nowadays..need to think about the future of my kids first. This is really sad that this makes my whole family suffer.

Yikes... Really sorry to hear that... Situate yourself as best you can and get as many letters of recommendation to further your employment quest. Your length of employment alone at that school should speak volumes to any prospective position that you try for here...

It means: dependent on the position you are trying for, having those stated infractions may NOT necessarily hinder your ability to get that particular job. Some Companies have limitations on the ability to hire a given person based on that person's past and IS primarily relevant to that Companies Insurance Policies. I speak of positions in which you handle cash, operate vehicles or equipment, or are entrusted to be responsible for a piece of property or job site (by being issued keys or are of a management or supervisory role).
